FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Las Vegas, Nevada — AirForce Airguns announces the newest addition to its big-bore lineup: the Tex-Rex® .308, debuting at SHOT Show 2026 at booth 14227 Designed to bridge the gap between compact brush guns and full-size big bores, the Tex-Rex .308 delivers powerful, efficient performance with flatter trajectories and excellent downrange accuracy in a versatile hunting platform.
Built on AirForce’s proven Texan-derived architecture, the Tex-Rex .308 features the adjustable Bias Port Orifice System, allowing shooters to fine-tune airflow for the ideal balance of power and shot count. The rifle also introduces a new manual safety.
For added mounting flexibility, the Tex-Rex .308 is equipped with a Picatinny scope rail for precision optics, along with 11mm dovetail accessory rails on the upper and lower portions of the frame. These rails provide secure mounting options for bipods, lasers, and other add-ons—adapting the rifle to a wide range of hunting and shooting applications.
“The Tex-Rex .308 was developed to give hunters a powerful, efficient big-game air rifle in a caliber they already trust,” said John McCaslin, AirForce Airguns. “By adding a manual safety and expanded mounting options, we’ve created a highly adaptable platform that delivers serious performance without unnecessary bulk.”
The Tex-Rex .308 will be showcased at SHOT Show 2026. Availability and pricing will be announced following the show. For more information, visit airforceairguns.com.
