January 20, 2026

January 20, 2026 — Las Vegas, Nevada — Venetian Convention & Expo Center — Booth 14227AirForce Airguns announces the debut of the Tex-Rex® Brush Gun in .510 and .457 calibers at SHOT Show 2026. Purpose-built for dense terrain and fast encounters, the Tex-Rex Brush Gun delivers massive, big-bore performance in an ultra-compact, maneuverable platform designed for close-range hunting.

At the core of the Brush Gun’s handling is its 16-inch barrel, creating a short overall length that excels in thick brush and tight shooting positions. Despite its compact size, the rifle delivers energy exceeding 700+ foot-pounds, providing decisive stopping power for deer and hogs at typical brush-gun distances. AirForce’s adjustable Bias Port Orifice System allows hunters to tune airflow for optimal balance between power and consistent shot count.

New features on the Tex-Rex Brush Gun include a Picatinny scope rail for secure mounting of modern optics and a manual safety. These updates further refine the Brush Gun as a purpose-driven hunting tool built for real-world conditions.

“The Tex-Rex Brush Gun was designed for hunters who need maximum capability in tight quarters,” said John McCaslin, President of AirForce Airguns. “With its compact 16-inch barrel, it delivers serious big-bore performance without the length or bulk of a traditional big-bore air rifle.”

The Tex-Rex .510 and .457 Brush Guns will be on display at SHOT Show 2026, January 20–23, at the Venetian Convention & Expo Center, Booth 14227. Availability and pricing will be announced at the show.
