Texan SS .457 Caliber Air Rifle
Developed directly from the compact Texan Carbine platform, the Texan SS was engineered for hunters who need a shorter, faster-handling rifle for maneuvering through thick brush, hunting blinds, trucks, and tight shooting environments.
Built around the compact Texan Carbine barrel platform, the Texan SS features a 24.75-inch rifled and shrouded Lothar Walther barrel paired with the integrated Sound-Loc® suppression system to help reduce report while still delivering the serious performance expected from the Texan platform.
The shorter Carbine barrel configuration helps improve maneuverability in hunting blinds, vehicles, and heavy brush while maintaining excellent balance and fast handling in the field.
Powered by the proven TX2 valve system and a durable 500cc aluminum air cylinder with a 3,000 PSI max fill pressure, the Texan SS .457 is capable of producing up to 400 foot-pounds of energy and velocities reaching up to 930 FPS.*
Its lightweight 43.5-inch design and adjustable buttplate make it comfortable to carry, shoulder, and shoot in a wide variety of hunting situations, while the smooth side-lever action provides fast and reliable loading in the field.
